CISBAT 2007 – Renewables in a changing climate

At the beginning of September, a 2-days International Scientific Conference on the "Innovation in the built environment" is taking place.

The topics are:
- Sustainable building envelopes
- Building and urban integration of renewables
- Hybrid and passive cooling
- Indoor environment quality and health
- Day lighting and electric lighting
- Advanced building control systems
- Nano-structured materials for solar energy conversions
- Decentralised energy production and interactive distribution
- Urban ecology and metabolism
- Information technologies and software

Interesting enough: That conference is taking up topics, which were promoted by JPR Concepts & Innovation as early as 2004, e.g.:
- assessing the importance of full day lighting for the health of people living in the buildings,
- spotting the decentralised energy production and the interactive distribution as the solutions for to-morrow.
