The shortage of skilled labour is an important issue in business and politics. However, looking for culprits and tracing the origins of this situation will not get us very far. It is indeed the scientific way to investigate the matter to the bottom, to understand the why and the mistakes made. From this, we can learn what to avoid and introduce corrective measures. However, looking for culprits and tracing the history of how this situation came about will not get us very far. It should suffice to bring clarity about the different types of knowledge and to understand their significance for our actions. In this way, we can bring knowledge to life and keep it alive in an organisation with the appropriate methodological options. This is how we get out of this impasse. I wish you an entertaining read.
